Cari and Jason were my guinea pigs for my first ever engagement shoot in 2000! They have been married for almost 15 years. 4 kids later they are more in love with each other than the day they got married. I look up to them when it comes to love, marriage, and the constant struggle of everyday life. They are an inspiration to all of us. Many more years to you guys. I am so proud of call you both my friends. I messed around shooting the Super Moon for about a half hour. I had a lot of fun changing settings, using a tripod (which I don't do a lot) and playing with my remote shutter. :) Taken with my Canon 7D, 200mm lens, f 6.3, 1/125, iso 100. :)

This soon to be momma asked me to take some pictures of her for her husband overseas in the military. Chrissy is so beautiful and I am so happy for her for the chapter in life she is going through in her life. She is so excited for this sweet baby. :) The happiness radiates from her and is addicting. :)

This little girl is the daughter of a friend of mine from high school. It was soooo nice to catch up with my friend while talking pictures of her gorgeous daughter. Her hair was BEAUTIFUL! I couldn't get over how pretty it was! I must say, that she was the one little girl that I could not get to fall in love with me... lol ... apparently after the shoot, she was bummed that she didn't get to give me a kiss! I thought she was relieved to see me go!

Such an awesome family. I had a blast doing their photos. The boys were cute!

I just thought I would take the time to jot some of my ideas down. I have been so busy the last two months with moving, a son graduating, a trip to the East Coast, baseball tournaments, girl scouts and such that I have been falling behind on this blog. I think it's super important to keep it up so that new and returning clients have a feel for what we are doing and accomplishing lately at Pure Images. Since I've moved, the model portfolio shoot have slown down a bit (is slown a word?). It's hard being so far from the San Diego area where most of those shoots are usually scheduled. Most models don't typically come to Riverside for portfolio shoots, but either way, it's been nice doing what I love more which is chasing around kiddos. I love being a children photographer. I love their faces, their smiles and getting them to give me their best side. I love getting to a shoot and having a child act as though I am their enemy and throughout the shoot becoming their best f...
