I haven't posted on the blog in a while! December! How insane! Life has been super busy for me. I've been concentrating a lot on Instagram and Facebook but apparently I need to be on the blog! I have had 22,000 visitors to my blog so I guess I need to give my baby the attention it deserves! Hope everyone is having a good beginning of their year! I can't believe we are already in April! We are gearing up to do some new branding which is very exciting! I love the coral/gold or coral/silver route so we will see where we go! I will try and keep this updated more so you guys can see whats going on with Pure Images!

Here are some tips for all you that will be out photographing fireworks this week... 1. Use Manual Setting on camera.  2. Set Shutter Speed to 3 seconds 3. Set Aperture to f16 4. Set ISO to 200 5. Put camera on Tripod - pointed where fireworks will be. 6. If possible use a cable release to fire camera without touching. (Use this as a starting point and adjust from there) For even better results, using cable release set your camera to BULB mode and push fire button as firework launches, hold through duration and release once firework completes. This guy was the cutest thing! He was sooooooooo good. I have never seen a baby that was this cooperative. :)

I messed around shooting the Super Moon for about a half hour. I had a lot of fun changing settings, using a tripod (which I don't do a lot) and playing with my remote shutter. :) Taken with my Canon 7D, 200mm lens, f 6.3, 1/125, iso 100. :)
